Eligible families may stay for a suggested minimum contribution of $10 per family per day, subject to availability and program approval.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Keeping Families Together During Medical Treatment
When a child requires hospital treatment, parents and caregivers may need to travel or temporarily remain close to the hospital. Finding affordable accommodation, food, and family support during this difficult time can create additional emotional and financial pressure.
Clarity Campus Family Care Homes is intended to provide eligible families with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay while their child receives treatment.
Our goal is to help families remain together and focus on their child’s health without having to worry about temporary accommodation and everyday living needs.
SUPPORT SERVICES
What We Provide
Temporary Accommodation
Safe, furnished, family-friendly accommodation for approved parents, caregivers, children, and family members.
Meals and Food Support
Nutritious meals, snacks, groceries, and access to kitchen and dining facilities, depending on availability.
Family Living Spaces
Comfortable bedrooms, family lounges, children’s activity areas, laundry facilities, kitchens, and shared community spaces.
Compassionate Support
General assistance, community referrals, family activities, and support from Clarity Campus staff and volunteers.
Children’s Activities
Reading, crafts, educational activities, indoor play, and family recreation opportunities.
Community Connections
Opportunities for families to connect with volunteers, community organizations, donors, and other participating families.
WHO MAY STAY?
Who Is Eligible?
A family may submit a request when:
Their child is receiving active treatment, assessment, surgery, rehabilitation, or follow-up care at a public or government-funded hospital.
Temporary accommodation is required to remain near the child’s medical care.
A parent, legal guardian, or approved caregiver will stay with the child.
The family agrees to follow Clarity Campus house rules and safety requirements.
Accommodation is available for the requested dates.
The family can provide hospital appointment confirmation, treatment confirmation, or a referral where available.
Please Note: Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee accommodation. Every request is reviewed individually and all stays are subject to availability, safety requirements, household size, and program policies.
SUGGESTED CONTRIBUTION
Affordable Support for Families
Eligible families may be asked to make a suggested minimum contribution of $10 per family per day toward accommodation, meals, utilities, and family-support services.
Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact Clarity Campus. Additional assistance or a reduced contribution may be considered depending on the family’s circumstances and available funding.
CALGARY INITIATIVE
Proposed Livingston Family Care Community
Clarity Campus is planning a large-scale family care housing project in the northeast Calgary community of Livingston.
The proposed development is envisioned as a community of dozens of family-oriented townhomes where eligible families may temporarily stay while their child receives medical treatment at a Calgary public or government-funded hospital.

The child’s medical treatment will be provided by the public hospital and authorized healthcare professionals. Clarity Campus provides temporary accommodation, food, family support, and a caring living environment. Clarity Campus does not provide medical diagnosis, hospital treatment, nursing services, or emergency healthcare.

Our work doesn’t stop at primary school. We provide scholarships and guidance for students transitioning into vocational training or university.
Our Core Focus
Removing the Burden of Cost
Many children are forced to work because they cannot afford uniforms or books. We provide every student with a “Back-to-School Kit” containing everything they need, so parents never have to choose between a meal and a textbook.
Healing Through Knowledge
Children in poverty often face trauma. Our schools provide emotional counseling alongside academics, helping them build the resilience needed to dream of a better life.
